On 8 August 2024, the Intelligence Ombudsman issued a statement on a government draft proposal which would fulfill the first stage of the revision of the civilian intelligence legislation and legislation on information exchange of the Security and Intelligence Service (the so-called firewall legislation and transfer of data to NATO).
